PawnOffers
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 22, 2026
By using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms, do not use our services.
These terms are the agreement between you and Bred Ventures Inc, which runs PawnOffers: the website and web app at pawnoffers.app, and the PawnOffers mobile apps for Apple iOS and Android (when available). In these terms, “PawnOffers” means all of them. Please read them. They cover customers looking for a loan offer and the pawn shops that make offers. The part just for shops is in Shop Terms.
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using PawnOffers, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you get text messages from us, our SMS Terms apply too. If you don't agree, please don't use PawnOffers.
If you use PawnOffers for a shop, you agree to these terms for yourself and for that shop.
What PawnOffers is, and isn't
PawnOffers is a marketplace. It connects people who want a pawn loan with independent, licensed pawn shops near them. You describe and photograph an item, get an automated estimate, and can ask shops for an offer.
PawnOffers is not a lender, a pawnbroker or a loan broker. We don't make, arrange, negotiate or guarantee loans. We don't hold or inspect items, set or advise on interest rates, fees or loan amounts, or decide whether you get a loan. We are not a party to any loan, and we don't act as your agent or a shop's agent. Nothing on PawnOffers is financial, legal or tax advice.
The shops are independent
- Every pawn shop on PawnOffers is an independent business. We are not affiliated with any shop, and the only relationship between us is that the shop uses PawnOffers to receive requests and make offers. Shops are not our employees, agents, partners, joint venturers or franchisees.
- When the app calls a shop a “partner” or “partner shop”, it means only that the shop uses PawnOffers to make offers. It doesn't mean a legal partnership, an endorsement or a recommendation.
- We may check a shop's license and details when it joins, but we don't control and can't guarantee a shop's licensing, conduct, prices, offers, or how it handles your item or your loan. Choosing a shop, and whether to take a loan, is your decision.
Who can use PawnOffers, and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- Give us true, current information, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Don't create an account for someone else or pretend to be someone else.
- Tell us right away at support@pawnoffers.app if you think someone else is using your account.
You can try a few scans before creating an account. Those scans are saved to a temporary guest account and follow the same rules.
Estimates
Estimates are produced automatically, using artificial intelligence, from the photos and details you give us. An estimate is a rough guide to help you decide what to do next.
- An estimate is not an offer, an appraisal, or a promise of a loan amount.
- It can be wrong, especially if the photos or details are unclear or incomplete.
- A shop decides its own offer, and the final amount depends on the shop inspecting your item in person.
- Estimates expire after a set time and may change if you edit your item.
Requests, offers and loans
When you send a request, we pass it to one or more shops near you that take your kind of item. A shop may make an offer, ask you a question, or pass. We can't promise that any shop will make an offer, or that an offer will be a certain amount.
- An offer shows the amount the shop is willing to lend, and a deadline to accept it.
- Accepting an offer in the app tells the shop you'd like to go ahead, and shares your phone number and email with that shop. It is not a loan agreement.
- You then bring the item to the shop by the deadline shown. The shop will inspect it and may change or withdraw its offer if the item isn't as described.
- Any loan is made only by the shop, under the shop's own written loan agreement (the pawn ticket) and the law that applies to it. Read it before you sign. It sets out the amount, interest and fees, how long you have to repay, and what happens if you don't. Questions about your loan go to the shop.
- Every loan term is set by the shop alone, including the amount, interest, fees, length, renewals, and what happens to your item if you don't repay. An offer on PawnOffers is the shop's, not ours.
- We never take possession of your item. Once you leave it with a shop, its storage, safekeeping, return, sale or forfeiture is between you and the shop.
- You never have to accept an offer, and you can cancel a request that's still waiting on a shop.
Items you can't use PawnOffers for
Only use PawnOffers for items you own and have the right to pawn. Don't submit:
- stolen items, or items you have reason to think may be stolen;
- items that belong to someone else, or that are already pledged as security for another loan;
- counterfeit or fake items, or items described as something they're not;
- items that are illegal to own, sell or pawn where you or the shop are;
- items a shop can only take if special legal requirements are met, unless you meet them.
Pawn shops are often required by law to check identification and report pawn transactions to law enforcement. We cooperate with lawful investigations of stolen property.
How you may not use PawnOffers
- Don't break the law or help anyone else break it.
- Don't lie about yourself, your item, or your shop, or upload photos that aren't of your item.
- Don't harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, or send spam or unrelated sales pitches.
- Don't use contact details you get through PawnOffers for anything other than the request they came with.
- Don't try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, get around our security or limits, or disrupt the service.
- Don't copy, scrape, or collect data from PawnOffers with bots or other automated tools.
- Don't use PawnOffers to build a competing service.
Messages
You and a shop can message each other about a request in the app. Keep messages about the request. Our team may review messages to investigate a report, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce these terms. Messages are kept as part of the request's record, even if you later delete your account.
Shop Terms
These extra terms apply if you claim, add or run a shop on PawnOffers, or work on a shop's team. By claiming or adding a shop, you agree to them for yourself and on behalf of the shop.
Listing and the partner program
- Listing is free. There is no charge for a shop to be listed on PawnOffers.
- Shops can opt in to the PawnOffers partner program. Once we approve a shop, it can use the services included in the platform, including making loan offers to customers, communicating with customers, and being listed as a PawnOffers partner in an exclusive or non-exclusive geographic area.
- Being a PawnOffers partner requires an active subscription. Subscriptions are offered in tiers. Our fees aren't published; they're available on request at support@pawnoffers.app, and are agreed with the shop in writing before they apply.
- Any exclusive area, and its boundaries and length, applies only as set out in the shop's written partner agreement. If a subscription ends or lapses, partner services stop, and the shop may stay listed for free.
- PawnOffers doesn't receive transaction fees for loans. We aren't paid any part of a loan, its interest or its fees.
Being on PawnOffers
- You have the authority to act for the shop, and everything you tell us about it (including your license) is true.
- The shop holds, and keeps, every license and permit it needs to operate as a pawnbroker where it does business. Tell us right away if a license is suspended, revoked or expires.
- Keep your listing accurate: name, address, phone, hours and the kinds of items you take.
- We may check your information, ask for documents, and approve, decline, suspend or remove a listing or claim at our discretion.
- Some listings start from public information. If you believe a listing about your shop is wrong, tell us at support@pawnoffers.app.
Offers and loans
- Make offers in good faith, based on the photos and details you were given.
- Honor an accepted offer when the customer brings the item as described, by the deadline. If the item isn't as described, explain clearly to the customer why the offer is changing before they sign anything.
- Every loan is between the shop and the customer. The shop is solely responsible for it, including its written terms, interest, fees and disclosures, and for complying with every law that applies (including pawnbroker, lending, consumer-protection, record-keeping, hold-period, identification and reporting rules).
- Charge only lawful rates and fees, and don't add terms the customer wasn't shown before signing.
Customer information
- Use a customer's information only to handle their request and loan, and as the law requires. Don't use it for marketing, and don't sell it or share it.
- Keep it secure, and follow the privacy and data-security laws that apply to the shop.
Your team
- The shop is responsible for everyone it adds to its team and for what they do on PawnOffers. Remove people who no longer work there.
- Each person uses their own account. Don't share logins.
Fees
We don't charge customers to use PawnOffers. Listing a shop is free. The partner program requires a paid subscription, agreed with the shop in writing, as described in Shop Terms. We don't receive transaction fees for loans. Loan interest and fees are set and charged only by the shop.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, messages and other content you add. You give us permission to store, copy, display and process it to run PawnOffers: for example to create estimates, show your request to shops, and keep records. For shops, that includes showing your listing, hours and details to the public.
You confirm you have the right to share your content and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Our service and other sites
PawnOffers, including its name, logo, design and software, belongs to Bred Ventures Inc. You may use it only as these terms allow. We may change, add or remove features at any time.
PawnOffers links to other sites and services, such as maps, shop websites and review sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them.
Mobile apps and app stores
If you download a PawnOffers app, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use it on devices you own or control, for using PawnOffers as these terms allow. Don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except as the law allows. Updates may be needed to keep using it.
Apple App Store
If you got the app from Apple's App Store, you and we also agree that:
- These terms are between you and Bred Ventures Inc only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Your license to use the app is limited to Apple-branded products you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions (except that the app may be used by other accounts linked to you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing).
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. Please contact us at support@pawnoffers.app instead.
- If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund any price you paid for it (the app is free). To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses from any failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility, to the extent these terms don't disclaim them.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If a third party claims the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your wireless carrier's.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Google Play
If you got the app from Google Play, these terms are between you and Bred Ventures Inc, not Google. Google's own terms also apply to your use of Google Play. Google isn't responsible for the app, and we are responsible for supporting it.
Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to Bred Ventures Inc at support@pawnoffers.app.
Disclaimers
PawnOffers is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We don't promise that PawnOffers will always be available or error-free, that estimates will be accurate, that any shop will make or honor an offer, or that information from shops (such as hours) is correct. We aren't responsible for what shops or other users do, or for any loan or transaction between a customer and a shop.
That includes, without limit: the terms, cost or legality of any loan; whether a shop is licensed or follows the law; an item's value, condition, authenticity or ownership; and the loss, damage, theft, sale or forfeiture of an item left with a shop.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Bred Ventures Inc and its owners, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or the value of an item or loan, arising from your use of PawnOffers.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to PawnOffers is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.
Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Disputes with shops, and release
Because we're not a party to any loan, a disagreement about an offer, a loan, or an item you left with a shop is between you and that shop. We may try to help, but we don't have to.
To the fullest extent the law allows, you release Bred Ventures Inc and its owners, employees and agents from any claims, demands and damages, known or unknown, arising from or connected to a dispute between you and a shop or another user, including any loan, offer or item.
If you live in California, you waive California Civil Code section 1542, which says: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.” You waive any similar law where you live.
Indemnity
If you break these terms or the law, or a claim arises from content you submitted or (for shops) from a loan or transaction you made, you agree to cover the costs, losses and reasonable legal fees Bred Ventures Inc faces because of it, to the extent the law allows.
Disputes, arbitration and governing law
If you have a problem with PawnOffers, please email support@pawnoffers.app first. Most issues can be solved quickly that way, and we ask that both sides try for 30 days to resolve a dispute informally before taking formal action.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by the Federal Arbitration Act.
Arbitration
Please read this carefully. It affects your rights. Unless you opt out, you and we agree to resolve disputes by binding individual arbitration instead of in court, and to give up class actions.
- Any dispute between you and Bred Ventures Inc about PawnOffers or these terms that isn't resolved informally will be decided by a neutral arbitrator, not a judge or jury. The arbitration is run by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and can be held by video, by phone, or in the county where you live. We'll pay the filing and arbitrator fees above what you would pay to file in court, unless the arbitrator finds your claim was frivolous.
- Individual claims only: you and we may bring claims only for ourselves, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action, and the arbitrator can't combine claims of more than one person.
- Exceptions: either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court, or ask a court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property. Nothing here stops you from asking a court for public injunctive relief where the law allows it; that claim waits until the arbitration is finished.
- Opting out: you can opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first agreeing to these terms by emailing support@pawnoffers.app with your name, your account email and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out doesn't affect anything else in these terms.
- If the class-action waiver can't be enforced for a claim, that claim goes to court instead, not to class arbitration. If any other part of this section can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Any claim that isn't arbitrated (including if you opt out) will be decided in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
To the fullest extent the law allows, a claim must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.
Disputes about a loan itself are between you and the shop, under the shop's loan agreement.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using PawnOffers at any time, and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, if we believe it breaks these terms or the law, puts others at risk, or could expose us to legal liability. Where it's appropriate, we'll tell you why.
Sections that by their nature should keep applying after an account closes (such as content permissions, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity and disputes) will continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the “Last updated” date at the top, and if the changes are significant we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using PawnOffers after that, you agree to the new terms.
General
You agree that we can give you agreements, notices and other messages electronically, by email, in the app, or on this site, and that these meet any legal requirement for them to be in writing.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and SMS Terms, are the whole agreement between you and us about PawnOffers. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't given up the right to later. You can't transfer these terms to someone else; we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
